THE AFTER is based on the fast fashion consumption that has rapidly been polluting the planet through increased production and demand. While we cannot simply tell people to stop over consumption, we can give them solutions in a asthetically pleasing way.
This project focuses on a problem and a solution. The fashion magazine is a stylish way to alert the world of fast fashion and gives solutions for everyday to solve this, while the website focuses on being a platform of reuse for fashion students and individuals to relieve them of the high prices of materials and have easy access to their doorstep.

Iteration and Process
When I first started creating THE AFTER magazine, I wanted to present the idea of a messy situation with a strong collage aspect, but I realised how anybody who would see this project would be confused about where to focus on in the page and would feel scattered.
To combat this situation, I took a survey to get a second opinion, and most of them answered that the magazine is very visually heavy. In order to create harmony, I started again with a main color selection and adjusted images that balance the page, still maintaining the collage.
Things to Notice
The end of the magazine includes a website QR code that directly links the book and the app together.
Each chapter has an expressive typographic element to showcase the beginning of the chapter.
After the end of each chapter, there is a pictographic page break to separate the topics in the magazine.

The Solution, let's reuse
THE AFTER app is a platform for fashion students and individuals in the industry to have easy access to fashion-related materials.
After aims to resolve the problem of fast fashion by connecting with big brand companies and individuals who can supply their waste materials for reuse.
The app not only allows folks to sell and buy products, but also has a community platform where like-minded people can connect to supply materials, make contacts, and be a part of the journey together.
Individuals can sell their reused products for a lower price helping small brands and students who create prototypes, need small amount of materials or just starting out.
